SyncJazz ("we", "our", or "the Service") is a calendar synchronization platform that helps you manage and sync events across multiple calendar services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Service.

When you connect your Google Calendar, we access and process the following data to provide our calendar synchronization service:

  • Calendar event titles, descriptions, and locations
  • Event dates, times, and duration
  • Event attendees and their response status
  • Recurring event patterns
  • Calendar names and colors

2.3 Calendar Data from Microsoft

When you connect your Microsoft Outlook calendar, we access similar calendar event information as described above for Google Calendar.

2.4 Calendar Data from Apple iCloud

When you connect your Apple iCloud Calendar via CalDAV, we access similar calendar event information as described above. Note that Apple iCloud connection requires an App-Specific Password for security reasons.

2.5 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information about how you use the Service:

  • Device type and browser information
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Error logs and performance data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Calendar Synchronization: To sync events between your connected calendars
  • Service Operation: To maintain and improve the Service functionality

We do NOT use your calendar data for:

  • Deleted accounts: All personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
  • Calendar data: Removed immediately when you disconnect a calendar or delete your account
  • Logs and analytics: Anonymized and retained for up to 12 months

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@syncjazz.com or by deleting your account in the app settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Revocation: Disconnect calendars and revoke access at any time

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

SyncJazz's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request access to the calendar data necessary for synchronization
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements
  • We do not allow humans to read user data except with explicit consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law
